About Us

Urban Action Partners, Inc., formerly Neighborhood Works, Inc., was formed in early 2012 with an original mission to provide affordable housing for seniors and low income families in the urban core and to assist non-profits and urban core organizations with grants, loans and management services to assist them in continuing to service their clients in the urban core.

Since 2012 Urban Action Partners has assisted several urban core non-profits in need of temporary resources that have for many years provided critical services to surrounding neighborhoods.  Urban Action Partners has also provided resources to new urban core organizations needing startup capital and management assistance to reach their mission of improving neighborhoods and their residents.
